At the central regions of Iran the courts were usually located at a lower level than the passages. The entrance to these houses was through a story that was higher than the court level. To access the different spaces, at a level equal to the second-story level of the building, and around the court, an open space was considered which encircled the court and had a special name. In Kashan these type of houses were called “Paain va Bala” (i.e. below and top) and the path along the circumference of the court was called “Sharomy”. Our reason for selecting this name is the approach which the Sharomy group follows. This approach is based upon re-construction of the splendid and beautiful architecture and technique of Iran at the hearth of the contemporary world with respect to the needs and taste of today people. We hope that by taking advantage of the professionals and artists of this ancient territory could take a step forward for the progress and keeping alive the history of Iranian art
